Sambalpur: Under its CSR initiative, Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) is set to provide skill-based training to 1040 youths in its operational areas in Odisha.
In this regard, MCL signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET), Bhubaneswar in presence of Shri O P Singh, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Shri Keshav Rao, Director (Personnel), Shri P K Patel, Chief Vigilance Officer, Shri J K Borah, Director (Technical/ P&P) and other senior officers.
Under this initiative, skill development training in machine operator trades will be provided to the selected youths at the cost of Rs.10 Crores. Youth from the operational areas of MCL will be benefited from this scheme.
