BEL appoints Meera Mohanty to Board, replacing Rajeev Prakash
Bengaluru. Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Defence, has announced the induction of Ms. Meera Mohanty as Part-Time Official Director (Government Nominee Director) on its Board, effective July 16, 2025.
This appointment comes after the withdrawal of Mr. Rajeev Prakash's nomination, as he stopped holding the position on the same date. The change complies with Regulation 30(2) of SEBI’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements (LODR), 2015. It was disclosed through regulatory filings to BSE and NSE.

Ms. Mohanty, who has the Director Identification Number (DIN) 03379561, replaces Mr. Prakash (DIN 08590061) on the BEL Board. She brings a fresh perspective to the company’s governance. Details of the transition were shared according to SEBI’s Master Circular dated November 11, 2024, and included in the necessary Annexure as per updated disclosure norms.
