Rajinder Kumar steps down as Government Nominee Director of MRPL

Shri Rajinder Kumar, currently serving as Government Nominee Director at Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited, has been transferred to another Ministry.

Shri Rajinder Kumar, Economic Advisor, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India, currently serving as Government Nominee Director at Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited, has been transferred to another Ministry.

With this, he has vacated the office of Director of the Company w.e.f 28/07/2025.

Shri Rajinder Kumar is civil servant of 2003 batch (IES) in the Central Government of India. He has more than twenty-two years’ vast professional experience in public policy formulation and execution in various Ministries/Departments of the Government of India, including, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Power and Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises. Currently, he is posted as Economic Advisor in the Ministry of Petroleum & Nature Gas since March 2022.

Before joining the MRPL Board as Government Nominated Director, he was worked as Government Nominated Director in the Boards of Bharat Petro Resource Limited (BPRL) and Balmer & Lawrie also.
