FSIB Appoints Egon Zehnder for Public Sector Bank Leadership Programme
New Delhi, 12 March 2026 – The Financial Services Institutions Bureau (FSIB) has announced that M/s Egon Zehnder has been selected as the successful bidder to implement a Leadership Development Programme for public sector banks and financial institutions in India.
The programme was initiated through a Request for Proposal (RFP) floated by the Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) on 16 January 2026. Proposals were evaluated under the Quality cum Cost Based Selection (QCBS) methodology, ensuring a transparent and competitive selection process.
Egon Zehnder, a global leadership advisory firm, will now design and deliver the programme, aimed at strengthening leadership capabilities, enhancing strategic decision-making, and driving transformational growth within India’s public banking sector.
This initiative aligns with FSIB’s mandate to develop talent, nurture leadership, and ensure sustainable growth across public sector financial institutions.
