MOU exchanged Among NHPC JKPDD and JKSPDC for executing 850 MW Ratle HEP
Vijaypur: An MOU has been exchanged among NHPC Limited, Jammu & Kashmir State Power Development Department (JKPDD) and J&K State Power Development Corporation (JKSPDC) for execution of 850 MW Ratle Hydroelectric Project (Jammu & Kashmir) in the presence of Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi , Shri Satya Pal Malik, Governor, J&K, Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State (I/c) for Development of North Eastern Region, Dr. Nirmal Singh, Speaker Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member of Parliament and Shamsher Singh Manhas, Member of Parliament on 3rd February 2019 at Vijaypur, District Samba .
Sh. Balraj Joshi, CMD, NHPC and Shri Hirdesh Kumar, Commissioner/Secretary to Government of J&K & Managing Director JKSPDC signed the documents. The project will be executed through a joint venture between NHPC and JKSPDC.
On this occasion Shri Aniruddha Kumar, Joint Secretary (Hydro), MoP, Govt. of India, Shri Ratish Kumar, Director (Projects), NHPC, Shri N. K. Jain, Director (Personnel), NHPC, Shri M.K. Mittal, Director (Finance), NHPC, Shri Janardan Choudhary, Director (Technical), NHPC and other senior officers from NHPC, JKPDD, JKSPDC and State government were also present.
