Mumbai: City Union Bank has announced the opening of two new branches in India as part of its ongoing network expansion strategy. With these additions, the bank’s total number of branches has increased to 927 nationwide.

The announcement was made through a regulatory filing submitted to the National Stock Exchange of India and Bombay Stock Exchange on March 16, 2026, in compliance with SEBI’s listing regulations.

 

New Branch Locations

The newly inaugurated branches are located in Tamil Nadu and Madhya Pradesh, strengthening the bank’s presence in both southern and central India.

1. Vadakaraiyattur Branch – Tamil Nadu

The first branch has been opened in Vadakaraiyattur, located in Paramathi Velur Taluk of Namakkal district.

The branch operates from Palaniappa Goundar Complex, Indra Nagar, providing banking services to local residents, businesses, and agricultural communities in the region.

2. Indore Annapurna Branch – Madhya Pradesh

The second branch has been launched in Indore, one of central India’s major commercial hubs.

Situated on Annapurna Mandir Road, the branch aims to serve retail customers, small businesses, and local entrepreneurs in the growing urban market.

The expansion reflects City Union Bank’s strategy to enhance financial accessibility and strengthen its branch network across key regions.
