MoU to Promote Regional Connectivity Scheme
NEW DELHI . The Ministry of Civil Aviation, State Government of Puducherry and Airports Authority of India yesterday signed a tri-partite Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the Regional Connectivity Scheme thereby initiating the collaborative partnership.
The MOU was signed at New Delhi in the presence of Hon’ble Minister of Civil Aviation for State, Shri. Jayant Sinha, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Puducherry, Shri. V. Narayanasamy and Hon’ble Minister of Tourism and Civil Aviation of Puducherry , Shri. Malladi Krishna Rao.
With today’s development, the State Government of Puducherry has formally agreed to provide the concessions required from the State Governments in the Regional Connectivity Scheme. The MoU is signed by Shri Manoj Parida, Chief Secretary, Puducherry, Smt. Usha Padhee, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation and Shri A.K. Dutta, Member, Airports Authority of India.
