MRPL contributes Rs.5 Crores to Chief Minister Relief fund.
Mangaluru: Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) has contributed Rs.5 Crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund Natural Calamity. The contribution was handed over to Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri B.S.Yediyurappa by Shri M.Venkatesh, Managing Director, MRPL Chief Minister’s official residence ‘Krishna’ in the presence of Ms Manjula C, Chairperson, CSR & SD Committee and Independent Director, MRPL, Shri B.H.V.Prasad, GGM(HR), Ministers, elected representatives of D.K.district.
MRPL, being one of the biggest industries in the state of Karnataka, has responded to the Chief Minister’s appeal to help in the relief and rehabilitation efforts by contributing this amount under its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative.
