BHUBANESWAR TO HAVE PIPED NATURAL GAS SUPPLY
Bhubaneswar: The ground breaking ceremony for the supply of Piped Natural Gas (PNG) to the households with the installation of Decompression unit at NALCO Nagar, Bhubaneswar was held on 6th August 2017.
It may be mentioned that this activity is apart of the CGD (City Gas Distribution) project under “PRADHANMANTRI URJA GANGA” programme, leading to the commencement PNG activities in Bhubaneswar. The project is slated to be completed by mid-September, 2017 by Gas Authority of India Limited.
The ground breaking was done by Shri B.K. Thakur, Director (HR) of NALCO and Dr. Ashutosh Karnatak, Director (Projects) of GAIL. Senior officials of NALCO and GAIL were present on the occasion.
Dr. Tapan Kumar Chand, CMD, NALCO has complemented GAIL for setting up the cooking gas pipeline project in NALCO Township and hoped it will benefit the company employees and residents.
