NCL celebrates its 36th Foundation Day

Singrauli: On the 36th foundation day of Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), the CMD of NCL pens down some word and extends the warm greeting to the NCL family and all the stakeholders of the company and all the NCL miners, physicians, paramedical staff, sweepers, and corona control in this difficult time of the global epidemic.

CMD NCL also addressed the gathering at NCL HQ premises on the occasion of the 36th NCL Foundation Day function held early morning today. JCC Members from TUs, General Managers, employees were also present on the occasion.
Shri Sinha said, with the establishment of NCL on this day in 1985, the golden journey of its contribution to nation-building started. The journey started in the first year of establishment in 1985-86 with 11.62 million tonnes of coal production and 11.42 million tonnes of coal dispatch with an increase of about 900% in the year 2019-20 with 108.05 million tonnes of coal production and 107.42 million tonnes of dispatch. NCL is contributing about 18 percent to the production while contributing about 5 percent to the total labor force of Coal India.
