NCL CMD inspects one of the biggest Coal Mine of the Nation
CMD also visited the Dudhichua project on June 10, 2022, to inspect the ongoing monsoon preparation and coal evacuation system.
CMD directs concern to boost coal production and dispatch quality coal with due safety of miners.
New Delhi: Northern Coalfield's Chairman and Managing Director Shri Bhola Singh paid a visit to Jayant OCP, one of the biggest Coal Mines of the Nation. He reviewed the Mining operation and ongoing monsoon preparedness. He also took stock of the progress of the first-mile connectivity project & urged to scale up the production & dispatch in wake of the growing energy demand of the nation.
Jayant Opencast mine is running an opencast mine in Northern Coalfields Limited, a subsidiary of Coal India Ltd., since 1975, which is a prime producer of non-coking coal, mainly power grade, in the country. It operates coal mines in the states of M.P. and U.P.
