NCL to Provide Financial Help to Needy Brilliant Students
Singrauli: Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) will help financially to needy Brilliant students. The company's Kakri coalfield will give scholarships of two to two thousand rupees to 20 local students under their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) scheme. Students completing various drafts required to take advantage of this scheme of Kakri Area can apply till 30 January 2019.
Only students in Uttar Pradesh can apply for the scholarship within a radius of 25 km from Kakri area. This scheme is for meritorious students of below poverty line (BPL) families, who have passed the examination of at least 65 per cent marks in the tenth examination in 2017-18 academic session from a recognized board. And they are continuing in further studies in the 2018-19 season. Students of Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) families will be given 10 per cent marks in preparation of final list for Participation, Application and Prize, i.e. students of these two classes get 10 per cent additional marks in their 10th grade Adding the marks will be included in the merit list.
