NCL will install sanitary pad vending machine in 25 government schools
Shri Bimlendu Kumar Director(P) NCL stated that more than 5000 local girls students will be benefited from this initiative. NCL will also provide free sanitary pads for 3 years to the girl students of these 25 government schools.

Singrauli: Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) has taken a meaningful step forward to improving the health and hygiene of students under their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities. NCL has decided to install sanitary pad vending machine in 25 government schools in Singrauli and Sonbhadra districts. Also, sanitizer vending machines and sanitization boxes will be installed in 25 schools for the spread and prevention of Covid-19.
NCL signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOU) on Thursday with Government of India's Public Initiative Hindustan Lifcare Limited (HLL) to implement these scheme. Mr. Suresh Babu P.M. signed the Memorandum of Agreement on behalf of NCL General Manager (CSR) Shri Atmeshwar Pathak and HLLL in the presence of NCL Director (Personnel) Mr. Bimlendu Kumar.
Hindustan Lifecare Limited is a public undertake company of Government of India working remarkably in the field of health and personal hygiene. Under MOU, NCL will provide free sanitary pads for the next 03 years through sanitary pad vending machines in 25 government schools in Singrauli and Sonbhadra districts.
Insinnerators will also be installed in all 25 government schools for proper and safe disposal of sanitary pads after use | More than 5000 students will benefit from this scheme. Under this scheme, students will be given cleanliness and health advice and correct information through cleanliness talk, which will benefit them in improving their personal health and hygiene.
To prevent and avoid Covid-19 in the program, NCL also did MOU for implementation of sanitizer vending machines and sanitization boxes in 25 schools. Sanitizer vending machine has a provision of 1 years of sanitizer arrangements. School children will be able to sanitize their various items from sanitization box. It is a matter that the NCL has already installed 25 sanitary pad vending machines in Singrauli and Sonbhadra districts, which are benefited by the students of the government school.
On this occasion, Shri Bimlendu Kumar Director(P) NCL stated that more than 5000 local girls students will be benefited from this initiative. NCL will also provide free sanitary pads for 3 years to the girl students of these 25 government schools.
In addition, to vending machines, students will also be educated, motivated and well-informed regarding cleanliness, health and hygiene through Swachhta Talk, to improve personal health and hygiene. Notably, NCL had previously installed 25 similar sanitary pad vending machines in different Schools of Singrauli (MP) and Sonbhadra (UP) districts
