NHPC achieves all-time lowest outstanding dues
The outstanding dues of more than 45 days plus surcharge have been reduced to Rs. 945.51 crore
New Delhi: NHPC Limited, an Indian government hydropower board under the ownership of the Ministry of Power achieves the all-time lowest outstanding dues with the receipt of payment of Rs. 96.228 crore against Water Usage Charges from Jammu & Kashmir.
The outstanding dues of more than 45 days plus surcharge have been reduced to Rs. 945.51 crore which is the all-time lowest outstanding dues since the inception of all the current power stations of NHPC.
It has been possible due to continuous monitoring and support by the Ministry of Power, Govt. of India.
