NHPC begins 46th Raising Day celebration with Blood Donation Camp
The blood donation camp witnessed good response across all PHPC locations and over 400 units of blood were collected.
Faridabad: NHPC Limited, India's premier hydropower company will be celebrating its 46th Raising Day celebrations by organizing blood donation camps on 6th November and 7th November 2020 at NHPC Corporate Office, Faridabad, and across all Its locations.
Shri A.K. Singh, CMD, NHPC inaugurated the camp in the presence of Shri Satish Kumar, Director (Projects), Shri N.K. Jain, Director (Personnel). Shri Y.K. Chaubey, Director (Technical), Shri R.P. Goyal, Director (Finance) and Shri A.K. Srivastava, CVO, NHPC, senior officers of NHPC, and Rotary club members at NHPC Corporate Office on 6th November 2020.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri A.K. Singh said that the blood donations camps are a special part of the celebrations of 46th NHPC Raising Day and more such camps are being organized across all NHPC locations. He lauded this initiative and urged NHPC employees and their family members to associate with this noble cause. The blood donation camp witnessed good response across all PHPC locations and over 400 units of blood were collected.
The blood collected in the camps will be highly beneficial for people and can be used in many ways. It is used in cases of Covid, accidents, thalassemia, anemia, cancer, surgeries, etc. as whole blood, FFP, RBC, platelets, etc.
