NHPC holds deliberations with PwC on Strategic Development of Hydropower

Keeping in view the Renewable Energy target of 500 GW by 2030 by Government of India, NHPC and PwC (Pricewaterhouse Coopers) under Chairmanship of Shri A.K. Singh, CMD, NHPC, deliberated on 19.01.22 about various ways to boost up hydropower development in the country.

NEW DELHI-Hydropower is instrumental for energy security of the nation and development of the same is need of the hour. 

Keeping in view the Renewable Energy target of 500 GW by 2030 by Government of India, NHPC and PwC (Pricewaterhouse Coopers) under Chairmanship of Shri A.K. Singh, CMD, NHPC, deliberated on 19.01.22 about various ways to boost up hydropower development in the country. 

All the functional directors of NHPC and senior officers participated in the discussion.

The deliberations were focussed on bundling with RE sources, review of policy, regulations, market dynamics, R&R aspects etc. 

which will help in development of Hydropower including optimal way of Bundling of hydro with RE (Solar/Wind).
