NHPC TLD-III & IV Power Station organized powerhouse tour
NHPC Limited has also diversified into the field of solar and wind energy, currently has an installation base of 7071.2 MW from 24 power stations including 2 projects in JV mode.
New Delhi: NHPC TLD-III & IV Power Station conducted a visit to the power house tour for Students of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Rambi, West Bengal on 09-02-2022 under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. Where they understood the power house operation method. All the students expressed their gratitude to NHPC for this work.
As of today, NHPC Limited has become the largest organization for hydropower development in India with the capability to undertake all activities from concept to commissioning with respect to setting up of hydroelectric projects.
NHPC Limited has also diversified into the field of solar and wind energy, currently has an installation base of 7071.2 MW from 24 power stations including 2 projects in JV mode.
Considering the constraints faced in the implementation of these projects such as adverse geological conditions, difficult law and order problems, inaccessible and remote locations, the achievement so far is commendable.
NHPC is presently engaged in the construction of a total of 9 projects with a total installed capacity of 5999 MW, which includes 2 hydel projects.
