NHPC signs Power Sale Agreement with UPPCL
NHPC Ltd has signed a Power Sale Agreement with UPPCL, Uttar Pradesh for 1280 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE Power) at Lucknow on 27th November 2024 under the REIA scheme of MNRE, Government of India.
REIA could refer to the Renewable Energy Implementing Agency or the Rare Earth Industry Association. The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) designated SJVN Ltd as the REIA to help India achieve its renewable energy targets. SJVN is a Miniratna, Category-I PSU that will act as an intermediary procurer.
