NHPC wins 1000 MW Capacity Solar Power Project under CPSU Scheme, Phase-II, Tranche-III conducted by IREDA
The tender was earlier invited by IREDA for the Selection of Solar Power Developers for the setting up of aggregate 5000 MW Grid Connectivity Solar PV Power Projects in India.
New Delhi: NHPC Limited (National Hydroelectric Power Corporation) has bagged 1000 MW Capacity Solar Power Project at a Viability Gap Funding (VGF) of Rs. 44.90 Lakh/MW under CPSU Scheme, Phase-II, Tranche-III in the e-Reverse auction conducted by Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) on 23.09.2021.
The tender was earlier invited by IREDA for the Selection of Solar Power Developers for the setting up of aggregate 5000 MW Grid Connectivity Solar PV Power Projects in India. NHPC has been able to win this prestigious award of the solar project under the dynamic leadership of Sh. A.K. Singh, CMD, NHPC.
The scheme mandates the use of domestically manufactured Modules and Cells for the setting up of solar power plants and the electricity generated shall be for self-use or use by Government/Government entities.
