NLCIL records growth in total income of 17.70 pct
CHENNAI. The total income of the Company during the quarter and nine months ended 31-12-2019 was Rs.2436.75 crore and Rs.6558.63 crore respectively as against Rs.2070.29 crore and Rs.5792.47 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, registering a growth in total income of 17.70% and 13.23% respectively in both the periods.
Profit after tax for the quarter and nine months ended 31-12-2019 was Rs.361.55 crore and Rs.1021.37 crore respectively as against Rs.329.49 crore and Rs.976.84 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, registering a growth of 9.73% and 4.56% respectively in both the periods. Power generation during the quarter and nine months ended 31-12-2019 was 5469.47 MU and 15801.60 MU as against 5430.79 MU and 15087.34 MU in the corresponding period of the previous year, registering a growth of 0.71% and 4.73 % respectively in both the periods.
The EBIDTA for the quarter ended 31-12-2019 was Rs.1089.74 crore as against Rs.751.21 crore, registering a growth of 45.06%. The EBIDTA for nine months ended 31-12-2019 was Rs.2752.95 crore as against Rs.2203.04 crore, registering a growth of 24.96%
