No interest in Pawan Hans Limited said JSW Steel Ltd

New Delhi: The Mumbai-based multinational steel-making company JSW Steel Ltd gave clarification on April 25, Monday that the company has not submitted a bid to acquire state-owned helicopter service provider Pawan Hans.

Moreover, the company denied the reports and said that they have no interest in this asset. Earlier in the media (according to the resources) it is mentioned that JSW Steel submitted the bid to take over Pawan Hans.

Pawan Hans Limited is a government-owned-Noida-based helicopter service provider, under the ownership of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India. Other than providing helicopter services to Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) to its off-shore locations, this government-owned-helicopter service provider is often engaged in providing services to various state governments in India

However, the company reported a loss this year but is set to end this year with an operating profit. On the above note on acquiring the government-owned company, said "The media report is baseless and has no substance."
