NRL set up a skill development training center
Guwahati: NRL set up a Skill Development Training Centre in the name of 'Santhigiri – NRL Institute of Paramedical Science' in Guwahati in partnership with Kerala based Santhigiri Ashram. Hon'ble Chief Minister of Assam formally inaugurated the institute on 12th January 2017 with 89 students from nearby underprivileged families.
With the establishment of this institute, NRL aimed at providing ample job opportunities in the AYUSH wellness sector. Passed out students have been placed in various Ayurvedic hospitals across the country, viz. Santhigiri Ayurveda and Siddha Hospitals in Rajasthan, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kerala, New Delhi; All India Institute of Ayurveda, New Delhi and others
