NTPC Bongaigaon observes Swachhta Pakhwada
Shri Subrata Mandal, CGM, NTPC Bongaigaon reiterated the importance of swachhta drives and the need to promote the awareness of these drives.
Bongaigaon: NTPC Bongaigaon employees took the Swachhta pledge in front of the administrative building with an aim to promote cleanliness and mark the beginning of Swachhta Pakhwada (cleanliness fortnight drive) that began from 16th May 2021.
Emphasizing the event, Shri Subrata Mandal, CGM, NTPC Bongaigaon reiterated the importance of swachhta drives and the need to promote the awareness of these drives. Shri Mandal motivated the employees to participate in cleanliness drives. Shri A.K.Chawla, AGM(HR), and employees of various deptts were also present on the occasion. The entire event was observed keeping in mind social distancing norms and COVID 19 protocols. In the main plant area, the pledge was taken online by respective Deptts. in the presence of Shri T.Ravinder, GM(O&M), Shri Ramakanta Panda, GM(Maintenance), Shri D.P.Patra, GM(Operations), Shri Umesh Singh, GM(FM).
The drive aims to create awareness about the importance of cleanliness with events and activities like sanitization activity, cleanliness drive in nearby areas of Bongaigaon and others.
