NTPC Launches Campaign On NO TOBACCO
New Delhi: The World No Tobacco Day is celebrated on 31st May Worldwide highlighting the health risks associated with the use of tobacco and implementation of policies to reduce its consumption. As a prelude NTPC WRI-HQ started a week long campaign which was inaugurated by Shri. Subhasis Ghosh, Regional Executive Director, NTPC Ltd.
The Week long programme will have a street play " Guthka Tambakhu", lecture by eminent Doctors, and a giant Rangoli depicting the harmful effects of tobacco.
The prototype model of cigarette with a message attracted large audiences & became a selfie point to visitors. As a responsible corporate citizen, NTPC is committed for providing a healthy workplace to all the employees.
