NTPC PMI organised a special programme called go getters women leaders conclave
New Delhi: NTPC PMI organised a special programme called "Go-getters: Women Leaders Conclave" for the first time to celebrate women leadership, grit and inspiration.The Conclave had national-level women icons from diverse fields share their journey and life lessons.
The Conclave started with a conversation with Lieutenant Commander Vartika Joshi, team leader of Tarini - a six-member all-women Indian Navy crew who circumvented the globe in 254 days on INSV Tarini, thus creating history. Lt. Commander Joshi shared the team's challenges on the voyage and their journey towards successful completion of the mission "Navika Sagar Parikrama".
Further in the day, inspiring stories and moving personal experiences were shared by Ms. Nazia Erum (Media and Advocacy, Amnesty International and author), Prof. Nishi Pandey (Professor at University of Lucknow) and Prof. Rajeshwari Narendran (Professor at MLSU and Consultant).
Shri D S Rao, ED(PMI and COE-1) felicitated the speakers and congratulated all women leaders for their exemplary contribution in building the workplace, society and nation.
The Conclave was attended by E8 level women executives from NTPC and was webcast through VC over all locations.
