NTPC Ramagundam and RGPPL bag awards at 18th Energy Efficiency Summit
New Delhi: NTPC Ramagundam received four awards at 18th Energy Efficiency Summit 2019 held in Hyderabad from September 16-18, 2019.
NTPC Ramagundam is the only industry which received all four awards in the categories of Excellent Energy Efficient Unit Award, National Energy Leader Award, Most Useful Presentations Award and Most innovative Project Award. In the process, NTPC Ramagundam emerged as India's first power station to get Energy Leader Award. Ratnagiri Gas and Power Private Limited (RGPPL), a JV of NTPC Limited, GAIL, Government of Maharashtra also received the National Award for Excellence in Energy Management.
Organised by CII Hyderabad, the 20th National Award for Excellence in Energy Management-2019 witnessed participation of 294 companies from all over India.
The awards were presented by Shri D Prabhakar Rao, CMD, TS Transco and Genco, Govt. of Telangana.
Out these NTPC Ramagundam is the only organisation which received all 4 categories awards namely
(1) Excellent Energy Efficient Unit Award
(2) National Energy Leader Award
(3) Most Useful Presentations Award
(4) Most innovative project Award.
