NTPC signed MoU with Govt of Chhattisgarh
RAIPUR .NTPC Limited has committed to extend Rs 100 crore grant for development of Govt Medical College at Raigarh. The amount will be utilised for developing infrastructure, equipment and overall upgradation of the medical college.
An MoU in this regard has been signed between NTPC and Govt of Chhattisgarh here at Raipur on 27th November 2019. Smt Niharika Barik Singh, Secretary, Department of Health & Family Welfare, Govt of Chhattisgarh and Shri Vinod Choudhary, Regional Executive Director, Western Region-II, NTPC Limited signed the agreement in the presence of senior officials of CG Govt and NTPC.
According to the MoU, NTPC will extend Rs 25 crore in first instalment during this financial year. The Maharatna Power company has committed to the overall development of Medical College in Raigarh to strengthen healthcare facilities in the district.
