NWWA, Indian Navy and Flame University Signed MoU
Deans of the various academic faculties at FLAME as well as senior Directors of the University were present at this landmark event. This MoU is valid for 5 years.

Pune: Mrs Kala Hari Kumar, President NWWA, Vice Admiral Suraj Berry, Controller Personnel Services, Indian Navy and Dr. Virender Sharma, Registrar of FLAME University signed an MoU on 24th Jan 2023 at Pune.
Deans of the various academic faculties at FLAME as well as senior Directors of the University were present at this landmark event. This MoU is valid for 5 years.
As a part of this MoU, FLAME University would admit, in their liberal arts programme, a total of 15 eligible students from Naval families in these three categories -100% waiver to five wards of Naval personnel who died in harness, 75% waiver to 5 eligible wards of serving Naval personnel and 50% waiver to additional 5 wards of retired Naval personnel. The same concessions will also be applicable to the hostel accommodation fees. The students will be required to clear the FLAME University entrance test and have secured an offer from FLAME University, in order be eligible to avail the benefit.
NWWA, under the leadership and guidance of its President, Mrs Kala Hari Kumar, has been making great strides towards the welfare and wellness of the community and today's MoU reiterates the importance she places on providing opportunities for quality education to deserving students from our community.
