OICL Signed MoU with ALIMCO
New Delhi: The Oriental Insurance Company Ltd (OICL) and Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) have signed a MoU on 23rd July 2018 at New Delhi for Rs. 100 Lakhs for Distribution of modern High End Aids and Assistive Devices such as Artificial limbs, Motorized Tricycle, Wheel Chairs, Joystick Wheelchairs, BTE Hearing Aids, MSIED Kit, Braille Kit, Daisy Player, Smart Cane, ADL Kit for Leprosy Patients, etc. to Divyangjan at Delhi NCR region under the CSR initiative of The Oriental Insurance Company Ltd in the august presence of Shri A. V. Girija Kumar, Chairman & Managing Director, OICL & Shri D.R. Sarin, CMD, ALIMCO.
Oriental Insurance Company Limited is the renowned insurance company in North India committed for the welfare of Divyangjan of the country and chosen ALIMCO (A Not for Profit organization) as the trusted partner for the implementation of Its CSR initiatives for the noble cause of uplifting and restoring the dignity of Persons with Disabilities.
Under this MoU ALIMCO will organize need assessment camps in the 1st phase at various locations of Delhi NCR and will record the baseline survey for the various requirement of Divyangjan. In the 2nd phase, ALIMCO will distribute customized Aids and Assistive devices to the identified beneficiaries.
