OIL and Tinsukia District signed an MoU for Anti-erosion measures at Dighaltarrang
NEW DELHI- OIL and the Office of Deputy Commissioner, Tinsukia District signed an MoU for Anti-erosion measures at Dighaltarrang, Tinsukia in the presence of Shri Rameswar Teli, Hon’ble Minister of State for Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India and Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India, and Rupesh Gowala, Honourable MLA, Doomdooma LAC.
Shri JPP Das, RCE OIL (Officiating), and from District Authority Shri Swapneel Paul, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Tinsukia signed the MoU.
OIL will provide financial assistance under OIL CSR to the office of Deputy Commissioner for Anti -erosion measures at the Dighaltarrang area from the flood caused by the river Brahmaputra (Ananta nallah).
Shri Rajeev Baruah, ED (HR & Admin), OIL, Shri Arunjyoti Baruah, CGM (HR-Field Admin), OIL, Shri Debashis Bora, GM (PA), OIL, Shri Monjit Borkakoty, ADC, Tinsukia (PSU) along with other senior officials from OIL and Water Resource Department, Govt of Assam were present on occasion.
