NEW DELHI-Ten-day farmers' training on organic farming and Mushroom cultivation, organised by NTPC Rammam, under its Community Development Scheme from 11.01.2022 to 20.01.2022 concluded today.
The program was inaugurated by Shri Satish Upadhyay ED and BUH, NTPC Rammam in the presence of Shri Rahul Sharma, AGM (HR), Shri B.N Rai, DGM (R&R) and Agripreneurs from Spread North East (NGO).
Around 50 female farmers participated in the event and got benefitted from the training. The Agripreneurs spoke about organic farming and how factors like climate, fertilizers and soil can improve the quality of the production.
Exhibition stall was put by NTPC up to showcase the organic produce like vermi-compost, biochar, biowash, mushroom straw, etc. All COVID-19 safety protocols were observed during the course of the event.
During the conclusion ceremony, mementos and certificates were presented to the Agripreneurs and participants in the workshop.
