Painting Competition on Energy Conservation 2019
New Delhi: The Painting Competition on Energy Conservation is an annual event of Ministry of Power conducted every year on the occasion of Children's Day i.e. 14.11.19. PFC is the nodal agency for conducting this event in Delhi NCR region. Like every year, this year too, the event witnessed humongous participation from across the schools & prolific creativity of the kids. Group "A" comprised of children from Classes 4th , 5th and 6th standard whereas Group "B" comprised of students from the 7th , 8th and 9th standard.
Secretary (Power) Shri Sanjiv Kumar Sahai had a look at the creative masterpieces of children during the 'State Level Painting Competition on Energy Conservation 2019' organised by PFC and Bureau of Energy Efficiency at Vishwa Yuvak Kendra, Chanakyapuri. The paintings were evaluated by an eminent jury comprising of Delhi Directorate Education officials, Art teachers from Govt. schools and Art Academy on parameters such as relevance, concept, theme etc.
Sec(Power) Shri Sahay (MinOfPower) along with CMD, PFC Shri Rajeev Sharma and other dignitaries from BEE & PFC applauded the efforts of young children at the Prize Distribution Ceremony by felicitating them with medals, trophy, certificates and cash prizes.
This time, "Around 12 lakh + students participated in the Painting Competition on Energy Conservation 2019 from Delhi NCR...Around 5000+Entries received for the very first time from countries like Qatar, Oman, Dubai, Singapore, Nigeria , Muscat, Kuwait" said, Shri S S Rao, AGM (PR), PFC & Nodal Officer (Delhi/NCR). In the end, Director (Commercial), PFC Shri P K Singh delivered the "Vote of Thanks"
We thank all schools, principals, teachers, jury, children & parents who participated wholeheartedly in making the Painting Competition on Energy Conservation 2019 a huge success. Energy Efficiency is the need of the hour.
