The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has selected Chandra Shekhar Tiwari for the position of Director (Technical) at Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), a Schedule ‘B’ Public Sector Undertaking. Tiwari, who is currently serving as the General Manager (Mining) at CCL, was chosen from a pool of 11 candidates who participated in the interview process conducted by the PESB.

This appointment is contingent upon obtaining the necessary clearances and the approval of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC). Once finalized, Tiwari will fill one of the two vacant Director (Technical) positions at CCL, bringing his extensive expertise in mining to the company's senior management team.
