Mr. Krishnakant Joshi selected for the post of Director (O&BD), BPRL
Mr. Bijay Rajeev, Chief General Manager, Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited was also interviewed in the meeting.
New Delhi: Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) on Monday 7 March 2022, recommended the name of Mr. Krishnakant Joshi for the post of Director(Operations & Business Development), Bharat Petro Resources Limited (BPRL), currently he is serving as General Manager, Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited.
PESB interviewed 2 other applicants apart from him in the selection meeting including Mr. Rajveev Saxena, Senior Vice President from Bharat Petro Resources Limited (BPRL)
Mr. Bijay Rajeev, Chief General Manager, Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited was also interviewed in the meeting.
Moreover, Mr. Joshi can assume the charge of the post, after the Appointments Committee of Cabinet (ACC) nod.
About BPRL
Bharat Petroleum entered the upstream sector in 2003 with an aim to provide partial supply security of crude and hedging of price risks and to become a vertically integrated oil company. A wholly-owned subsidiary company of Bharat Petroleum, by the name Bharat PetroResources Limited (BPRL), was incorporated in October 2006.
BPRL was set up with the objective of carrying out Exploration and Production activities considering the need for a focused approach in Exploration and Production activities and implementation of investment plans of Bharat Petroleum at a faster pace.
