PM Modi will dedicate NTPC's 100 MW floating solar PV project on July 30
Presently the Government sets a target of 500 GW of non-fossil capacity by 2030.

New Delhi: The Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi on July 30, 2022, will dedicate the 100 MW floating solar PV project of India’s largest energy conglomerate, NTPC to the nation at Ramagundam in Peddapalli district virtually.
The Indian power PSU commissions this largest floating solar PV project on July 1, 2022, which is spread over 600 acres of the reservoir. This project would help avoid 4.36 million Ton CO2e during the life of the project by focusing on cleaner sources of power globally.
Presently the Government sets a target of 500 GW of non-fossil capacity by 2030.
