POSOCO bagged 1st position in 25th Inter CPSU Carrom Tournament
Eleven teams from Power Sector PSUs (09), CEA and Ministry of Power participated in the tournament. Women team of POSOCO played enthusiastically in all the matches and defeated Women team of NHPC in finals.

New Delhi: Power System Operation Corporation Limited (POSOCO) bagged 1st position in Women’s Team events & 2nd runner-up in Men’s Team events of 25th Inter CPSU Carrom Tournament organised by SJVN Limited in Shimla under the aegis of Power Sports Control Board (PSCB), Ministry of Power, Govt of India.
Eleven teams from Power Sector PSUs (09), CEA and Ministry of Power participated in the tournament. Women team of POSOCO played enthusiastically in all the matches and defeated Women team of NHPC in finals.
Congratulating the players, Shri S. R. Narasimhan CMD POSOCO said “POSOCO always promotes different sports activities by motivating its employees to participate in tournaments like Cricket, Table Tennis, Badminton, Carrom etc. organised by different PSUs in association with Power Sports Control Board (PSCB) on regular basis”.
Power System Operation Corporation Limited (POSOCO) is a wholly owned Government of India Schedule A enterprise under the Union Ministry of Power. It is responsible to ensure the integrated operation of the National electricity Grid in a secure manner.
It consists of five Regional Load Despatch Centres (RLDCs) and the National Load Despatch Centre (NLDC) under The Electricity Act, 2003.
