POWERGRID complets electrification of miraj Kolhapur rail section

PUNE . The CRS approval for Electrification of Miraj - Kolhapur Section in Pune Division of Central Railway (50 RKM/68Tkm) has been successfully obtained by POWERGRID under it's ongoing Railway Electrification Consultancy Project for Central Railway on 11 December, 2019. The first commercial operation of a Express train on the electrified track has been carried out by the Pune Division of Central Railway 11 December, 2019 itself.
