A Legacy of Dedicated Service:


Shri Vishnoi, born on March 30, 1967, was a towering figure in India's energy landscape, leaving behind a profound and inspiring legacy of dedicated service and visionary leadership. He assumed the charge of CMD of THDCIL on August 6, 2021, and his tenure was marked by a relentless drive to transform THDCIL into a seasoned and diversified power sector company, emphasizing innovative interventions in both operational and under-construction projects.

His career, spanning over 37 years, was almost entirely dedicated to THDCIL, which he joined in 1989 as an engineer. Rising through the ranks, he contributed significantly to mega projects like the Tehri Hydro Power Project, Koteshwar HEP, and the Vishnugad-Pipalkoti Hydro Electric Project (VPHEP). An Honors Graduate in Civil Engineering from BITS Pilani, Shri Vishnoi was globally recognized as an expert power engineer. His expertise extended to international forums, where he represented India in the International Commission on Large Dams (ICOLD) for the Technical Committee on Seismic Safety of Dams.
