PowerGrid Q2 Results: Profit hikes 8% at Rs 3,651 cr
The company reported an increase of 8 percent in its consolidated net profit at Rs 3,650 crore for Quarter second Financial Year 2023, against Rs 3,376 crore recorded an year ago.
New Delhi: India's Maharatna Public Sector Enterprise of Govt. of India Power Grid Corporation Limited (PGIL) on 5 November 2022 announced its second quarter result for the current fiscal year.
The company reported an increase of 8 percent in its consolidated net profit at Rs 3,650 crore for Quarter second Financial Year 2023, against Rs 3,376 crore recorded an year ago.
However the company's revenue strikes upward 9 percent year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 11,151 crore, compared to Rs 10,267 crore registered in Quarter 2 FY22.
The Company, in its 33rd Annual General Meeting held on 29 August 2022, has declared and subsequently paid final dividend of Rs 2.25 per share (face value of Rs 10/- each) in addition to interim dividend of Rs 12.50 per share paid earlier, totalling to Rs 14.75 per share for the financial year 2021-22.
The Company, in its Board Meeting held on 05 November 2022, has declared interim dividend of Rs 5.00 per share for financial year 2022-23.
