Powergrid signed MoU with Govt. of Rajasthan
Powergrid will establish this ITI by facilitating and providing all machinery, tools, tackles, furniture, etc. for classrooms & workshops in eight different trades which will benefit the young population of Jodhpur and other districts of Rajasthan.
Jaipur: An MoU has been signed between POWERGRID and the Government of Rajasthan through the Department of Skill Development, Employment, and Entrepreneurship today in Jaipur for establishing Industrial Training Institute (ITI) at Shergarh, Jodhpur district in Rajasthan.
Powergrid will establish this ITI by facilitating and providing all machinery, tools, tackles, furniture, etc. for classrooms & workshops in eight different trades which will benefit the young population of Jodhpur and other districts of Rajasthan.
This step will give a boost to the Government of India’s initiatives of ‘Skill India’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat.’ The agreement was signed by Shri V. K. Singh, Director (Personnel) POWERGRID, and Shri Neeraj K. Pawan, Secretary (Labour, Employment, Skill, Entrepreneurship and ESI) in a ceremony held in Jaipur. Shri Anil Saberwal, ED (HRD, CC, and Rajbhasha) POWERGRID, and other senior officials were also present during the ceremony.
