Prof Shri K G Suresh To Get Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Award
New Delhi: Senior Journalist and former Director General of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Shri K G Suresh has been selected for the prestigious Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi award instituted by the Kendriya Hindi Sansthan, Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India, for outstanding contribution in the field of Hindi journalism and mass communication.
A academician and former PTI journalist, Suresh is currently serving as the Founder Dean of the School of Modern Media at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun The award carries a cash prize of Rs five lakhs, a shawl and a citation and is presented by the President of India.
