Sh. Vivek Kumar Dewangan, CMD, REC Ltd., while speaking during the WION Mission Sustainability Conclave 2023 in New Delhi said that a lot of amendments have been made in the Energy Conservation Act by the Ministry of Power and the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.
Lot of policy reforms have taken place in the last 3–4 years that have given a big push to energy transition.
He also mentioned that India is one of the few countries leading the green hydrogen initiative and he hopes that this policy initiative will give a big thrust to achieve the energy transition-related targets.
