REC Extends Rs 14 point 2 Crore CSR Support to IIM Trichy
NEW DELHI . REC Limited, has extendeda financial assistance of Rs. 14.2 crore under its CSR initiatives to Indian Institute of Management, Tiruchirappalli for installation of 2 MW solar panels (SPV) at various locations of IIM Trichy campus in Tamil Nadu. The Memorandum of Agreement was executed between REC and IIM Trichy on 16th Jan, 2017 in New Delhi. Shri C.P. Bhatia, General Manager (CSR), REC and Dr. Prafulla Agnihotri, Director, IIM Trichy signed the MoA in the presence of Dr. P.V. Ramesh, CMD, REC and other senior officials of REC and IIM Trichy.
The main objective of the project is to reduce grid energy consumption for achieving a cleaner community and to protect the environment by reducing carbon dioxide emission.
The Memorandum of Agreement was executed between REC and IIM Trichy on 16th Jan, 2017 in New Delhi. Shri C.P.
