RINL adjudged as National Energy Leader
New Delhi: RINL has been adjudged as “National Energy Leader" for winning "Excellent Energy Efficient Unit Award” for the consecutive three years (2017,2018,2019) by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Godrej Green Business Centre during 20th National Competition for Excellence in Energy Management held at Hyderabad yesterday evening.
Sri P K Rath, CMD,RINL congratulated the employees for this one of a kind achievement and exhorted them to implement additional measures to reduce energy to achieve international bench marks in energy consumption, a vital techno-economic factor in Steel making process.
National Energy leader and Excellent Energy Efficient Unit Award have been conferred on RINL-VSP for consistent and progressive performance in energy management, excellent efforts undertaken towards Energy Conservation, Overall Specific Energy Consumption reduction, implementation of Energy Conservation Technologies (such as PCI in BF's, commissioning of COB-5 turbine), Energy Management System (ISO: 50001), Benchmarking, Road map to reduce energy conservation projects and waste recycling, various innovative.
These awards were given away by Sri D Prabhakar Rao, CMD, Telangana State Genco & Transco and received by Sri S K Nayak, DGM(EMD) I/c, Sri K Sudhakar, DGM(O)-EMD and Sri K Brahmeswara Rao, Manager (M)-TPP, RINL.
