The Bina-Kota Doubling project is a Super Critical Project being executed by RVNL covering a total Length 288.36 km sanctioned by Railway Board in 2012. The doubling of the rail line between Bina to Guna is part of RVNL’s Bina-Kota Double line project has reached the final stage. CRS Inspection and speed trial has been scheduled on December 23-24 followed which the section will be commissioned. This is a major milestone achievement of this super-critical project.

Concurrently, RVNL is also undertaking the critical works of doubling of Mahadev Kheri-Malkheri section and track linking works. Mahadev kheri -Malkheri doubling, part of Bina -Kota doubling project. One major, seven minor bridges and 3 RUB have been constructed between Mahadevkhedi to Malkheri.

As a material modification works, the open web girder(45.7m) launch and alongside track linking works are also underway for which necessary blocks are obtained with the girder launch scheduled on 27th December 2021.  This section would clear a major bottle-neck in train movement on the saturated single line section. This section assumes great importance as Kota – Bina double railway line feeds coal to 6-7 Power Plants of Rajasthan & Madhya Pradesh states.
