SCOPE Academy Organised Programme on Transformation Leadership and Corporate Governance
NEW DELHI: SCOPE-Academy of Public Sector Enterprises (APSE) organized week-long programme on “Transformational Leadership” in collaboration Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam.
Dr. U.D. Choubey, Director General, SCOPE, Chief Guest in his inaugural address spoke on Transformational Leadership and Corporate Governance. He said the key challenges for a present-day leader is to retain human resource talent while enhancing the economic value of the organization. Since the current generation of professionals has a different loyalty focus as against the traditional loyalty factors of the earlier times. Today the young professional is committed more to the profession, career growth and loyalty to the organization takes a back seat.
Prof. M. Chandershekar, Director, IIM V in his address complimented SCOPE for this initiative. The aspect of constant change and innovation can be seen as complementing each other in present-day management scenario, said Prof. Chandrashekar.
Prof. M.S. Jawed, Programme Director gave programme overview. Mr. B.V.K.K. Rao, Programme Facilitator, welcomed the Chief Guest and other dignitaries and introduced them to participants. The inaugural session concluded with the vote of thanks by Program Coordinator, Ms. Hema Koul, SCOPE-APSE.
