SECI signed LOI to set up 2 GW of RE Projects in Rajasthan

The LOI was signed on February 08, 2022, at Jaipur in presence of Hon'ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan Shri Ashok Gehlot.

New Delhi: Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), a CPSU under the administrative control of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) for Setting up of 2 GW of RE Projects in Rajasthan under "Invest Rajasthan". 

The LOI was signed on February 08, 2022, at Jaipur in presence of Hon'ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan Shri Ashok Gehlot.

Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot said that it has been the result of policies of the state government to promote investment that today Rajasthan has emerged as a leading State in the country in the field of Solar Energy. 

He said, “We are making efforts to develop Rajasthan as the manufacturing hub of solar equipment and wish that investors also show their interest in investing. The State Government will extend full cooperation."

Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation signed MoUs and LoIs worth Rs 3.05 lakh crore with a capacity of more than 90GW capacity with 5 Public Sector Units and private companies including NTPC, NHPC Ltd, Sutlej Jal Vidyut Nigam, THDC India Ltd, SECI.
