SECL celebrated its 38th Foundation Day with enthusiasm

New Delhi: South Eastern Coalfields Limited, the largest coal-producing company of India, and a "Miniratna" Company celebrated its 38th Foundation Day with enthusiasm. Chairman cum Managing Director Dr. Prem Sagar Mishra, and Director Technical Operations cum Planning-Project Shri S.K. Pal graced the occasion.

Former Chairman cum Managing Director Shri V.K. Sehgal, Mr. M.P. Dixit, Mr. N.C. Jha, Former Director Technical Operations Mr. L.K. Srivastava, Mr. N.K. Singh, Former Director (Personnel) Shri K.K. Srivastava, Mr. Nathulal Pandey (HMS), Mr. Majrul Haque Ansari (BMS), Mr. Gopal Narayan Singh (SEKMAC), Mr. V.M. Manohar (CITU), Shri A. K Pandey (CMOAI), SECL Welfare Board, SECL Security Committee, SISTA, Council and OBC Association office bearers and officers-employees from different areas, various heads of departments and local officers-employees of SECL were presented.

In his address, Chief Guest Chairman cum Managing Director Dr. Prem Sagar Mishra congratulated everyone on SECL Foundation Day and said that on the occasion of foundation day of any organization, we should remember the golden history, present achievements and future plans of that organization. Therefore, considering these things on this day, let us move towards achieving the goal unitedly.

Director Technical Operation cum Planning-Project Mr. S.K. Pal said that SECL has a golden history. SECL has been number-1 company since its inception. The officers-employees, trade union representatives here will definitely achieve the given target with solidarity. In his address, he elaborated on the future action plans.

Former Chairman cum Managing Director Shri V.K. Sehgal, Mr. M.P. Dixit, Mr. N.C. Jha, Former Director Technical Operations Mr. L.K. Srivastava, Mr. N.K. Singh, Former Director (Personnel) Shri K.K. Srivastava said that SECL has had glorious achievements since its inception. With the hard work and dedication of all the SECL Company and its officers and employees, it is my wish that they keep moving towards progress day by day. In the end, he thanked the management for inviting him on this event.

On this occasion, Shri Nathulal Pandey (HMS), Shri Majrul Haque Ansari (BMS), Shri Gopal Narayan Singh (SEKMAC), Shri V.M. Manohar (CITU), Shri A. K. Pandey (CMOAI) said that we are present here on the occasion of SECL Foundation Day, the peak on which the company is today is due to the hardworking laborers, to whom we salute.

At the beginning of the program, the lamp was lit by the chief guest and all the guests on the stage. In the programme, special guests and stage guests, SECL Steering Committee, Welfare Committee, Security Committee, SISTA, Council and OBC Association office bearers were honored with shawl, quince and flowers.

Welcome Address General Manager (Personnel/Welfare/CSR) Dr. K.S. George gave Public Relations Officer Dr. Sanish Chandra performed the responsibility of successfully announcing the program.
