SECL signs MoU with MB Power Madhya Pradesh
This Mou will help eliminate random dumping of fly ash on unused land and is also gainful utilisation of the mined-out land.
New Delhi: South Eastern Coalfields Ltd. will utilize fly ash from Anuppur Thermal Plant to backfill its abandoned mine void in Sharda Open Cast Mine in Shahdol district, Madhya Pradesh. An MoU to this effect was signed between SECL & MB Power Madhya Pradesh Ltd.(MBPMPL).
This Mou will help eliminate random dumping of fly ash on unused land and is also gainful utilisation of the mined-out land.
The largest coal producing company of India South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) is a "Miniratna" Company, and one of eight fully owned subsidiaries of Coal India Limited.
The MoU was signed today by P. Srikrishna, GM (M)/SAM of SECL, and BK Mishra, Plant Head-Anuppur & COO of MB Power in the presence of Shri Sanjiv Mehra, Regional Officer MP Pollution Control Board (MPPCB) and Shankar Nagchari, Area General Manager, SECL, Sohagpur Area.
