Second over-dimensional cargo for NRL arrived

New Delhi: The second over-dimensional/overweight cargo for the Numaligarh Refinery Expansion Project has arrived at Dhubri Terminal on NW-2 (Brahmaputra) via the Indo-Bangladesh Protocol Route. 

This massive RPTU Reactor weighs 700 tonnes and spans 31.5 meters. It's all set to be installed in the VGO HDT section, enhancing the refinery's capabilities.

Once operational, the reactor will hydrotreat vacuum gas oil from the CDU/VDU and LC Fining section, effectively reducing sulphur and N2 levels. 

The output will be a product ideal for processing in the downstream Petrochemical Fluidized Catalytic Cracking unit.
